2.2.1.1.2. Minna No Nihongo II (Everybody's Japanese 2)

The Minna no Nihongo series serves as the foundation of our Japanese language studies here at Yamasa. With few exceptions, almost everyone who enters Yamasa at an elementary level will start with these books (or from a chapter within these books). The Japanese learnt from these two books will serve as an excellent foundation for intermediate and advanced Japanese studies, as well as providing a neccessary base for day-to-day spoken Japanese.

Despite its slight emphasis on conversational Japanese, the textbooks also strive to place equal emphases on the other 3 areas of the language, writing, reading and listening, through extensive drills and listening exercises.

Continuing from book 1, book 2 covers beginner-intermediate Japanese with topics and chapters on advanced verb forms, passive and active verbs, describing and presenting your own opinions, an introduction to formal (polite) Japanese and so on.
